SNV Ethiopia is recruiting experienced, Cluster coordinator for an anticipated flagship programme. The programme aims to secure 800,000 dignified and fulfilling job opportunities for rural young women. The programme will embrace a market system approach in high-potential value chains, (horticulture, poultry, dairy and complementary value chains), grounded in seven regional clusters. It will deliberately integrate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) transformative approaches and safeguarding mechanisms across all programme interventions, empowering young women to secure jobs through initiatives on market and socio-economic barriers and on location-specific gendered root causes.
SNV will implement the programme jointly with five other Ethiopian/ international NGOs, who will deliver their work in specific clusters. Together, these clusters will integrate technical expertise, and they will support the programme’s ecosystem to achieve longer-term systems change for youth employment in agriculture.
The Learning and Knowledge Management (LKM) Advisor leads the design and execution of the program’s learning agenda. The role fosters a culture of continuous learning and adaptive management by coordinating learning cycles, facilitating reflection events, and generating knowledge products that inform strategy, implementation, and policy influence
Play lead role in the design and implementation of LKM framework of the program
Closely work with the program staffs in the identification of learning questions, collection of evidence, analysis, documentation and sharing
Collaborate with technical advisors, MEAL teams, and implementing partners to identify key learning priorities aligned with the Theory of Change (ToC).
Ensure learning activities are integrated into the program cycle, including design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation processes.
In close collaboration with project team facilitate in generating and sharing knowledge products to bring higher impact
Design and facilitate learning events such as pause-and-reflect sessions, after-action reviews, and cross-learning visits.
Organize communities of practice and thematic working groups to support knowledge and experience sharing.
Promote dialogue and critical thinking across stakeholders to enhance program quality and adaptation.
Document lessons learned and case studies across all intervention with focus on inclusion and rural young women participation.
Produce and disseminate knowledge products (e.g., technical briefs, learning notes, innovation summaries) for internal and external audiences.
Maintain a centralized digital repository for learning materials and program documents.
Promote systematic documentation and archiving practices across teams and partners.
Ensure accessibility of knowledge resources for team members and stakeholders.
Work closely with the MEAL Manager and MEAL Advisor to ensure learning feeds into reporting, planning, and adaptive management.
Support capacity building of program staff and partners on knowledge management and learning tools/methodologies.
Provide technical support for integrating learning in donor reports and program reviews.
Use learning outputs to support decision-making and adaptive management by program leadership.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in knowledge management, development studies, Economics, or a related field.
10 years of relevant experience in learning, knowledge management, or monitoring and evaluation within development programs.
Experience in working with value chain development, agribusiness development and youth employment related projects
Experience in working in international and national organizations(public and private)
Strong skills in facilitating learning processes, producing knowledge products, and leading reflection and adaptive learning activities.
Experience in developing and implementing learning agendas and tools in alignment with a Theory of Change.
Excellent writing, communication, facilitation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in using digital platforms for documentation and knowledge sharing.
Fluency in English is required

Contract Duration: One year with the possibility of extension based on performance and available budget.
