Job Description
Blueriver Business Group Plc would like to hire for the General Manager position.
Oversee daily Transportation & forwarding logistics operations.
Ensure smooth handling of shipments & resolve operational issues related to logistics, delays, or documentation errors.
Implement best practices to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
Achieve Sales targets and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
Negotiate freight rates with clients and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
Supervise, train, and support a team of operation and sales staff.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer service and operational excellence.
Coordinate with carriers, agents, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics/transport, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in planning and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of logistics market trends, freight dynamics, and supply chain operations.
Familiarity with CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and Google Analytics.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and handle multiple priorities.
