Job Description
Established in 2014 EC, KMD Import & Export has engaged in Import, Export, and agricultural business.
We are looking for Senior Accountant to be responsible for manage the financial operation of our company. The ideal candidate will be possessed strong analytical skills, attention to deal, and a solid understanding of import, export and agricultural business transactions. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Management: Oversee daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivables, and reconciling bank statement.
Budget and Forecasting: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, financial forecast, and financial reports for company.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filling of all tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
Payroll: Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
Transaction Recording: Record and manage all import transaction, export transaction and farm transaction.
Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Support: Provide financial analysis and support other departments as needed.
Ad hoc Tasks: Perform other financial duties as assigned by the management
Salary: Negotiable
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
Experience: More than four (4) years of experience as senior accountant, preferably in the import, export and farming business
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (Peachtree accounting)
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft , particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
