Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Functional Consultant to join our growing team at Total Tech Solution Provider PLC, a leading provider of software and hardware solutions. In this role, you will be the vital link between client business needs and our technical solutions, ensuring smooth implementation, configuration, training, and support of ERP and SCM systems. You will play a key role across the full solution lifecycle: from pre-sales and requirement gathering through go-live and post-deployment support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Sales & Tender Support

  • Respond to RFQs/RFPs by completing functional compliance matrices and bid documentation.

  • Prepare compelling technical write-ups on ERP/SCM functionality.

  • Collaborate in project planning, documentation, and functional demos.

2. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business process requirements.

  • Translate business needs into well-defined requirements (RDD).

  • Perform gap analysis to align system capabilities with client operations.

3. ERP/SCM Solution Design & Configuration

  • Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD) and configuration blueprints.

  • Configure ERP systems based on business rules and workflows.

  • Collaborate with development teams for customization and enhancements.

  • Apply continuous process improvement strategies to optimize implementation.

4. Implementation & Project Delivery

  • Manage functional execution from testing, data migration, to user acceptance (UAT).

  • Monitor delivery milestones to ensure timely, quality, and on-budget go-lives.

  • Drive client alignment on solution design, change management, and sign-offs.

5. Training & Go-Live Support

  • Design and deliver training programs for end-users and key stakeholders.

  • Provide go-live support, including user guidance and troubleshooting.

  • Assist in the preparation of user manuals, guides, and internal documentation.

6. Post-Go-Live Functional Support

  • Act as a liaison for client functional issues and resolve escalated support tickets.

  • Recommend system and process improvements based on user feedback.

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer.

Expected Results:

  • 100% delivery of project milestones on time and within scope/budget

  • Minimal post-go-live errors or system rework

  • Timely closure of support requests and issue logs

  • Positive end-user feedback and high adoption rate

  • Compliance with internal documentation and quality standards

  • Strong collaboration with internal teams and clients

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BIS, Information Systems, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

  • ERP Certification (e.g., Oracle Cloud, ERPNext)

  • Business Analysis or Agile/Scrum certification

  • Sales or functional certifications from recognized ERP vendors

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ERP/SCM implementations (Functional role)

  • Exposure to CRM, SCM, Finance, or Inventory modules

  • Experience with Jira, GitHub, Trello, or other project collaboration tools

  • Experience working in or with tech/software companies or ERP-enabled environments

Skills & Competencies:

Technical & Functional:

  • Proficiency in ERP configuration and customization

  • Business process mapping and analytical problem-solving

  • Experience with system testing, data migration, and UAT coordination

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
