We are currently expanding our roster of freelance linguistic professionals to support a variety of projects in translation, interpretation, and transcription. Opportunities Available in the Following Areas:

• Translation – Written content (documents, reports, publications, etc.)

• Voice Interpretation – Simultaneous or consecutive (meetings, conferences, phone calls, community events, interviews)

• Sign Language Interpretation – Ethiopian Sign Language or International Sign Language

• Multilingual Communication Support – Local and foreign languages (Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Tigrigna, Somali, Arabic, English, French, and more)

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Good command of at least two languages (including English or Amharic)

• Proven ability to translate or interpret accurately and professionally

• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Willingness to accept assignments on a flexible, on-call basis

• Certification or relevant training in language services is a plus, but not mandatory

• Experience in specific fields (legal, medical, educational, development, etc.) is also welcome

Note: While prior experience is appreciated, we also encourage new language professionals to apply—especially if you’re confident in your skills and eager to grow.
