Job Requirements

Minimum Qualification – Bachelor of degree in Accounting and Finance and Minimum of 5 year’s relevant work experience in accounting.

Major Purpose

  • Prepare accurate payment vouchers and ensure all required supporting documents are in place

  • Manage and disburse petty cash in line with internal policies.

  • Declare all company sales, purchases and expenses via e-tax service.

  • Handle VAT, withholding, and other tax declarations via ERCA’s online portal

  • Keep financial records organized, accurate, and up to date

  • Ensure all activities comply with financial regulations and internal control standards of the company and Tax laws.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Compile and finalize payment vouchers with proper documentation

  • Handle and reconcile petty cash and manage day-to-day cash transactions

  • Solid understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and ERCA compliance procedures.

  • Hands-on experience with payment voucher preparation and cash handling

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Peachtree accounting software

  • High integrity, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills

  • Declare all applicable taxes (VAT, withholding, Employee income tax, pension contribution etc.) using ERCA's e Tax platform

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax reports through ERCA's online portal

  • Maintain orderly and compliant accounting records as per company policies and local laws

  •  Ensure full compliance with all financial and tax-related regulations.
