Vacancy Announcement: Field Enumerators (Quantitative and Qualitative)

Addis Economic Research (AER) is currently recruiting qualified and motivated professionals to join its roster of Field Enumerators for upcoming quantitative and qualitative research projects. These projects will be implemented in Addis Ababa and various regions across Ethiopia during the remaining months of 2017 and into 2018 (E.C.).

We are looking for individuals who are committed to high standards of data quality, professional integrity, and ethical research conduct.

Successful candidates must be willing to:

• Participate in intensive training sessions,

• Adhere to AER’s strict data collection protocols and guidelines,

• Undergo regular performance evaluations, including audio audits, spot checks, and back-checks,

• Work in diverse and often challenging field environments under tight deadlines,

Commit to maintaining the highest level of data accuracy and ethical standards

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Conduct household and firm surveys in both urban and rural settings.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
•    Proficiency in Amharic
•    English and other local language skills are an advantage
•    Prior experience with digital data collection tools (e.g., SurveyCTO) is an asset
•    Female applicants are highly encouraged
•    Recommendation letter or reference is required
