Job Description
Manage the end-to-end logistics operations across corporate multiple locations or business units the Company by strategizing, planning and optimizing transportation, distribution, and fuel inventory management activities and ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.
Develop and implement corporate logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to align with organizational goals and objectives
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to understand business requirements and develop logistics plans to support them.
Coordinate logistics activities across multiple locations or business units, ensuring consistency and alignment.
Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance and mitigate risks effectively.
Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes, modes, and costs while ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor transportation metrics, such as cost per unit, transit times, and service levels, and take corrective actions as needed.
Optimize distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective product flow.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor logistics performance across the corporation.
Analyze operational data, identify trends, and prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting areas for improvement. And Conduct root cause analysis for logistics issues and develop and implement corrective action plans
Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork, learning, and development.
Identify training needs, conduct performance evaluations, and coordinate training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the logistics team.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.
The position requires a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Procurement or Purchasing Management or Business Administration or Accounting or Manufacturing Engineering or relevant fields.
10 year proven experience in logistics and supply chain activities, logistics operations management in multinational, large scale FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, practices, and industry trends.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as transportation management systems (TMS)
Solid understanding of transportation modes, regulations and requirement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong leadership and team management abilities
