Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Lesson Planning Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives, often teaching all areas of the primary curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and science . They create engaging activities to help students understand complex concepts and retain information .
Classroom Management Organizing the classroom and learning resources to create a positive and safe learning environment . This includes supervising students in the classroom, playground, or laboratories, regulating behavior, and resolving conflicts .
Assessment and Evaluation Assigning and evaluating assignments, projects, and exams. They also design question papers, grade answer sheets, and record student performance to track progress .
Student Development Fostering cognitive, verbal, and numerical skills, and developing appropriate social abilities in children based on their age, ability, and aptitude . They are responsible for the overall progress of their class .
Communication and Collaboration Providing feedback to parents and guardians on a student's progress through periodic meetings . They also collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and professionals to coordinate work and support colleagues .
Extracurricular Activities Organizing and participating in school events, field trips, competitions, and other extracurricular activities to ensure holistic growth .
Administrative Tasks Maintaining registers, diaries, and record cards, and may act as a class teacher . They may also participate in school strategy development and supervision of school upkeep activities .

Qualifications: BA in Amharic Language
Work Experience: Fresh graduate
Location: KaraKore , Bethel, Lebu Alemgena
