We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant & Purchaser to join our growing team. This role combines accounting tasks with purchasing responsibilities and requires someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and capable of managing both numbers and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting operations and monthly closing
Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy
Manage purchase orders and vendor relationships
Track and process payments and receipts
File all applicable taxes on time
Support management with financial reports and cost analysis
Collaborate with the storekeeper and workshop team to ensure timely procurement
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Tax preparation and filing
Inventory and cost control
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Peachtree)
Ability to coordinate with suppliers and negotiate purchases
Good communication and organizational skills
