Job Summary :- The Fuel Attendant is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of fuel to company vehicles, machinery, and equipment. The role includes maintaining detailed fuel transaction records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring full compliance with safety standards. The attendant is also expected to provide courteous service to drivers and operators, report any malfunctions or hazards, and maintain cleanliness in the fuel dispensing area. This position plays a critical role in supporting smooth and safe daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fuel Dispensing:

  • Safely and accurately dispense fuel into company vehicles, machinery, and equipment as requested, following all safety procedures.

  • Operate fuel pumps and associated equipment correctly.

  • Ensure the correct type and quantity of fuel is dispensed.

• Record Keeping & Inventory:

  • Maintain accurate daily records of fuel dispensed, including vehicle/equipment registration, mileage/hours, driver/operator name, and fuel quantity.

  • Assist in monitoring fuel inventory levels and report low stock to the supervisor promptly.

  • Reconcile daily fuel dispensed with meter readings.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies regarding fuel handling, storage, and dispensing (e.g., no smoking, proper grounding).

  • Report any spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions, or hazardous conditions immediately to the supervisor.

  • Ensure the fuel dispensing area is clean, organized, and free from obstructions.

  • Conduct routine checks on safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers) and report any issues.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to drivers and operators.

  • Answer inquiries regarding fuel types or procedures as needed.

• Maintenance & Housekeeping:

  • Keep the fuel dispensing area clean and tidy.

  • Perform minor routine checks on dispensing equipment and report any maintenance needs.

• Other Duties:

  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support site operations.

Job Requirements

 Education

• 10th or 12th grade /Graduate from a recognized TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) college in any field.

Experience ;

• 2 years of relevant experience 

 Skill
