Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, manage and update local purchasing plan and report performances to ensure that Company objectives and goals are achieved;
Evaluate and analyze department’s performance and communicate recommendation on potentials for improvement to the top management of the Company;
Establish and revise the policies, procedures and work instructions of Local Procurement section;
Establish effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of commodities using the most appropriate Local Procurement procedures;
Collaborate with the Human Resource Management Section of the Company in the recruitment, selection, training and development processes for the Local Procurement staff;
Foster a productive working environment in the Local Procurement section;
Job Requirements
BA Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management or related field
At least 10 - 12 years of related experience in trading company operation out of which 4 years in management position.
In depth knowledge of local procurement requirements, regulations and procedures,
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
Attention to detail
