Job Description

The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of human resources functions to support organizational goals. This includes strategic HR planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to address grievances and improve relations.

  • Oversee performance appraisal systems to enhance productivity and development.

  • Administer compensation, benefits, and reward programs.

  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and international HR standards.

  • Identify training needs and manage employee development initiatives.

  • Track and report key HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.

  • Promote an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and operate HR information systems (HRIS/HRMS).

Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

  • In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience working in industrial parks or garment manufacturing is highly desirable

  • Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
