Location: Juba, South Sudan

Employment Type: Full-Time – Executive Support Level

Role Summary

Our Company. seeks a highly experienced and trusted Secretary General to serve in the Office of the CEO. This pivotal role provides strategic coordination and high-level administrative support across executive functions, board affairs, and interdepartmental operations.

The ideal candidate will possess over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, with at least 10 years specifically serving as a Board Secretary or Secretary General, and hold an advanced degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Bachelor’s in Management or related field.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the principal liaison between the CEO’s office and executive leadership, regulatory bodies, and board members

  • Coordinate high-level meetings, board sessions, agendas, minutes, and official communications

  • Manage strategic correspondence, legal and regulatory filings, and confidential documentation

  • Advise on corporate policy, governance procedures, and administrative protocols

  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks and executive-level procedures

  • Draft CEO briefs, position papers, and organizational memoranda

  • Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and track strategic action items

  • Represent the CEO office in select official functions and planning sessions

  • Supervise administrative support staff assigned to the CEO office

  • Support project oversight, risk monitoring, and internal audits as delegated

Job Requirements

 Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree (MBA) or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or relevant discipline

  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including 10+ years in Board Secretary or Secretary General roles

  • Proven leadership in executive-level administration and board coordination

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong organizational, diplomatic, and analytical capabilities

  • High ethical standards and demonstrated discretion in handling sensitive information

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and executive document preparation

  • Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, or corporate sectors preferred
