Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with onboarding processes for new hires.

  • Maintain and update employee records, both physical and digital.

  • Scan and upload documents to the staff database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Ensure all personnel files are complete with signed job descriptions and performance appraisals.

  • Compile and organize documentation for health and life insurance.

  • Support the registration, notification and retirement of staff with the Pension Agency.

  • Coordinate induction schedules with relevant departments for new employees.

Record Management

  • Organize and maintain HR files and records.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.

  • Manage document archiving and retrieval systems.

Learning Opportunities

  • Exposure to HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Practical experience with HR systems.

  • Insight into labor laws and compliance standards.

  • Participation in HR projects and organizational initiatives.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field (fresh graduate).

  • Must have exit exam pass mark result and should be provided.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
