Job Description

As the Product Owner, you are the voice of the customer and the business within the development team. You are responsible for defining product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of valuable features in alignment with business goals. You will work closely with stakeholders, users, project managers, and tech leads to translate business needs into detailed user stories and product features that the development team can deliver efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document and validate business and technical requirements.

  • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews.

  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

  • Define and manage the product backlog, writing clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.

  • Prioritize features and tasks based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and users to understand pain points, needs, and opportunities.

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements in collaboration with Tech Leads and Developers.

  • Lead sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions, ensuring the team is always aligned.

  • Review and accept completed features, ensuring they meet the agreed business requirements.

  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating communication and alignment.

  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support go-live processes.

  • Continuously refine and evolve the product vision, ensuring it aligns with market and user needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle.

  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear user stories.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and UAT processes.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, users, and project managers.
