1.5. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil works on the hospital construction site.

• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, healthcare standards, and project timelines.

• Conduct daily site inspections, monitor workmanship, and ensure quality assurance/control.

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately for site execution.

• Prepare and update construction progress reports.

• Identify and address design conflicts, propose site-based solutions to the Project Manager/Consultant.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams for timely delivery of materials and activities.

• Participate in progress meetings, client site visits, and inspections.

• Support in quantity surveying tasks: site measurements, work certifications, and material estimations.

• Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions.

• Ensure that hospital-specific requirements (e.g., infection control zones, medical gas pipelines, clean room standards) are considered during execution.

• Handle documentation: site diaries, material approvals, RFIs (Request for Information), NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

1.6. Required Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience in civil engineering on large-scale building projects (hospital or healthcare facility experience is highly preferred).Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project/Primavera, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings accurately.LanguageFluent in English (oral and written).

• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or night shifts if necessary to meet project deadlines.

• Ability to work on a fast-track construction schedule.

• Willingness to be stationed full-time at the hospital construction site.

• Immediate availability is preferred.
