Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist purchasers with day-to-day activities to ensure transparent, competitive, and cost-effective procurement.

• Maintain accurate supplier records and pricing information.

• Follow up on order status, deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies with purchasers & unit finances.

• Cover core purchasers’ duties during staff absences or peak periods.

• Manage the end-to-end process for international orders: from quote gathering and supplier negotiation, up to customs clearing in collaboration with clearing company.

• Maintain organized and accessible procurement files for audit readiness.

• Conduct monthly on-site inspections at business units/properties to verify adherence to procurement policies, inventory management, and arrangement. Report findings directly to the Procurement Manager.

• Compile necessary spend data, savings figures, and other inputs from business units/properties to procurement Manager for reporting and analysis.
