Job Purpose:

The Senior Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems within our factories and Batching Plant. This role ensures high equipment availability and reliability through hands-on technical service and team support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and utilities.

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment faults.

• Supervise and support junior technicians during maintenance and repair tasks.

• Install and commission new machines and electrical systems.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during maintenance work.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare part usage.

• Collaborate with Plant and Production department for timely intervention

Job Requirement:

Education: Diploma (Level IV/V) or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Technology, or a related field with 4 years relevant experience for diploma and 2 years for BSC Degree.

Technical Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.

• Knowledge of industrial safety standards.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work under pressure and during odd hours when necessary.

• Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting.

Salary: Gross Salary-Birr 27,000 per month
