Get-As International Plc. is a dynamic organization engaged in Real estate, Trading and Cross border transport. We are seeking a motivated Facility Officer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The Facility officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization's buildings and services meet the needs of the people who work in them. This role includes overseeing maintenance, managing contractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and optimizing the workplace environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems. 

• Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work with internal teams or external contractors.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and building systems. 

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Assist office moves, space planning and coordinate renovations. 

• Monitor and manage building systems including, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and equipment servicing.

• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations and standards. 

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects and address facility-related concerns. 

• Assist in the planning and implementation of facility improvement projects. 

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and tools.

• Handle emergency situations swiftly and effectively.

• Assist in developing and implementing facilities policies and procedures.

• Develop and implement parking rules and regulations based on local Government laws.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction management, or a related field.

• 2-3 years Proven experience in a facility or building management role.

• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health & safety standards.
