Job Description

Purpose of the position:

File correspondence, invoices, receipts, and other records in alphabetical or numerical order or according to the filing system used. Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement and proper condition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.

  • Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement and proper condition.

  •  Modify and improve filing systems or implement new filing systems.

  • Design forms related to filing systems.

  • Identify how and where a document should be classified or filed.

  • Keep records of materials filed or removed using computers.

  • Gather materials to be filed from employees of the department.

  • Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.

  • Escalate urgent matters to the management when needed. 

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in a business filed and above.

  • preferably 1 year experience in the area

  • Important Note: The employment contract is not directly with Habesha. This is a position managed by a third part.
