Job Description
The Junior Research Coordinator supports Komari’s innovation pipeline by designing and executing market research studies that uncover consumer needs, preferences, and behaviors. This role focuses on qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, ensuring that insights are rigorously captured, clearly communicated, and effectively integrated into product development and brand strategy.
To deliver high-quality consumer insights that inform product development, brand positioning, and strategic decision-making. The Junior Research Coordinator plays a key role in designing research tools, managing fieldwork, and synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations that reflect the voice of the consumer and support Komari’s growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Research Design & Execution
Co-develop research briefs and methodologies with Business Intelligence and R&D teams
Design qualitative and quantitative studies, including focus groups, surveys, etc
Draft discussion guides, questionnaires, and stimulus materials tailored to project objectives
Coordinate fieldwork logistics, including recruitment, moderation, and data capture
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
Collaborate with Business Intelligence to analyse survey data, consumer feedback, and behavioural trends
Interpret qualitative and quantitative findings to uncover motivations, barriers, and emotional drivers
Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product and brand teams
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare research reports, executive summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders
Maintain organized records of research tools, raw data, and final outputs
Contribute to shared dashboards and insight repositories managed by Business Intelligence
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product development, brand, and commercial teams to ensure research is aligned with strategic priorities
Participate in ideation sessions, product reviews, and go/no-go discussions, bringing the consumer lens
Support Business Intelligence in triangulating consumer research with sales, market, and performance data
Continuous Learning & Improvement
Stay current on research trends, tools, and best practices in FMCG and beverage categories
Document lessons learned and contributed to the evolution of Komari’s research standards
Support capability-building across R&D and Business Intelligence teams
Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, Statistics, or related field
1–3 years of experience in market research, consumer insight, or business intelligence roles
Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods
Strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills
Experience with survey tools (e.g., Survey Togo, Google Forms) and data analysis in Excel or Power BI
Collaborative mindset and curiosity about consumer behavior and market dynamics
