To lead and execute international sourcing activities for construction materials and technical equipment, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement in support of EASE Engineering’s EPC projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing & Procurement Execution

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable foreign suppliers for civil, electromechanical, and industrial construction materials.

• Prepare and issue international RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate terms (pricing, INCOTERMS, lead time, warranty, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements in all procurements.

2. Technical & Commercial Evaluation

• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand material requirements and ensure technical compatibility.

• Prepare technical-commercial comparison sheets (TCCs) and lead vendor selection recommendations.

3. Contracting & Supplier Management

• Draft purchase orders or contract agreements in coordination with legal and finance teams.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery, quality control, and documentation compliance (packing lists, CoC, shipping docs).

4. Logistics & Import Coordination

• Liaise with logistics agents, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for international shipments.

• Track shipments, coordinate with clearing agents, and ensure timely delivery to project sites.

5. Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP or tracking systems.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, import regulations, and donor or project-specific compliance (if applicable).

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience: 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

• A master’s degree or relevant certifications are very advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in international procurement or technical sourcing, preferably in an EPC or construction environment.

Technical Competence:

• Familiarity with international suppliers, manufacturers, and material standards.

• Working knowledge of INCOTERMS, international logistics, and procurement regulations.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.

Soft Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Tools:

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and procurement systems (ERP preferred).

• Procurement lead time (PR to PO, PO to Delivery)

• Cost savings achieved through negotiation

• On-time delivery rate

• Technical conformance rate of materials delivered
