  • Manage music room inventory, care for instruments, and request new materials when needed.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff on cross-disciplinary arts or cultural projects.

  • Maintain records of student progress and contribute to school reports and evaluations.

  • Promote student confidence, creativity, and team spirit through music education.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Music Education or a related field.

  • Prior experience teaching music in a school setting (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and in vocal training.

  • Ability to read and teach music notation, theory, and rhythm.

  • Passion for working with adolescent girls in a boarding school environment.

  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Fluency in Amharic required; knowledge of English is an advantage.

  • Willingness to live and work in a rural setting. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

What We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to shape the creative development of young girls through music.

  • A positive and supportive work environment focused on holistic education.

  • Free accommodation and daily meals provided on campus.

  • Competitive salary and benefits.

  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within the Foundation.
