Job Description
We are looking for a Purchaser Officer with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in construction-related procurement to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Source and evaluate suppliers of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project and warehouse teams.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
Maintain procurement records, reports, and vendor databases.
Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and finance team.
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–4 years of proven experience in purchasing for construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and supplier markets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
