Job Description
East African Mining CO. Plc, a subsidiary of East African Holding, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales & Marketing Officer to lead and drive the company’s sales growth. The role focuses on selling steel billets, lubricants, generators, and other imported industrial goods. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially savvy, and capable of managing the full sales cycle while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify and approach new industrial and commercial clients; understand their needs and offer tailored product solutions.
Promote and sell imported products including but not limited to steel billets, steel scrap, lubricants, generators, and other industrial goods.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions with customers to close profitable deals.
Prepare quotations, follow up on offers, and ensure timely after-sales support.
Track sales targets, customer activity, and market trends to support business development.
Organize client visits, product presentations, and maintain long-term client engagement.
Submit regular reports on market prices, sales performance, and client feedback.
Collaborate with the logistics and import teams to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of proven experience in sales and marketing—preferably in industrial or imported goods.
Strongly preferred: prior experience in selling steel billets, lubricants, generators, or similar industrial products.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.
Proficient in both English and Amharic (spoken and written).
