Job Description

Here are some of the main activities and tasks that chefs have to perform, and some of the physical demands they involve:

  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.

  • Consult with clients regarding banquets and specialty functions.

  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.

  • Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labor costs 

  • Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks 

  • Arrange for equipment purchase and repairs.

  • May prepare and cook food on regular basis, or for special gusts or functions

Job Requirements

Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Hotel management or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international Hotel.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
