Job Description
Here are some of the main activities and tasks that chefs have to perform, and some of the physical demands they involve:
Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
Consult with clients regarding banquets and specialty functions.
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labor costs
Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
Arrange for equipment purchase and repairs.
May prepare and cook food on regular basis, or for special gusts or functions
Qualifications:-
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Hotel management or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in international Hotel.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
