Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual and periodic audit plans aligned with the Internal Audit Directorate’s objectives.
Lead and supervise audit teams in conducting operational, compliance, financial, and IT audits.
Assess adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure audit activities comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Keep updated on changes in banking regulations and auditing standards.
Coach, mentor, and develop audit staff.
Conduct performance appraisals and ensure continuous skills development
Enhance audit processes, methodologies, and tools.
Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and other assurance functions.
Job Requirements
BA Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking & Finance or related Filed with 9 years of relevant experience of which 3 years in Supervisory level.
