Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual and periodic audit plans aligned with the Internal Audit Directorate’s objectives.

  • Lead and supervise audit teams in conducting operational, compliance, financial, and IT audits.

  • Assess adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.

  • Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.

  • Ensure audit activities comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Keep updated on changes in banking regulations and auditing standards.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop audit staff.

  • Conduct performance appraisals and ensure continuous skills development

  • Enhance audit processes, methodologies, and tools.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and other assurance functions.

Job Requirements

BA Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking & Finance or related Filed with 9 years of relevant experience of which 3 years in Supervisory level.
