Job Description
Position Overview/Scope of role: The Strategic Business Analyst serves as the execution engine for the company's “Scaling Up Operating System” transformation journey by translating executive strategies into structured execution frameworks, facilitating data synthesis, creating tracking tools, and ensuring that all strategic plans are delivered with clarity, accountability, and precision. The analyst plays a mission-critical role in driving data-backed decision-making, giving analytical support and acts as a bridge between the executive leadership and strategic advisory, translating insights into tangible outcomes. Serving under the direct supervision of the Chief Strategy Officer and PMO, this role acts as a central engine for insight, alignment, and delivery across the company’s high-priority initiative. The ideal candidate combines analytical acumen with business intuition and operates as a trusted advisor and execution partner to top leadership.
Support Diagnostic Phase
• Coordinate and analyze strategic data, KPIs, and assessments across multiple business units.
Strategic Planning, Alignment & Execution
• Support the design, rollout, and continuous refinement of the company’s One-Page Strategic Plans and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Translate executive priorities into clear execution charters, including task ownership (Who), scope (What), and deadlines (When).
• Facilitate strategic alignment workshops to ensure all departments and initiatives are connected to top-level goals.
Organizational Design & Accountability Mapping
• Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer and CHR to support organizational structure aligned to strategic goals.
• Map and visualize key roles, reporting lines, and accountability frameworks using RACI charts or similar tools.
• Contribute to building a high-performance culture by clarifying ownership of KPIs and expected deliverables at all levels.
Advanced Analytics & Strategic Decision Support
• Partner with the strategic advisory team to implement and track strategic initiatives.
• Conduct financial and operational analysis to support decision-making.
• Facilitate the flow of information and insight across units and support weekly rhythm disciplines.
• Coordinate data collection, synthesis, and presentation for strategic offsites.
• Build dashboards and visual reporting tools that highlight performance.
Dashboarding & Real-Time Monitoring
• Monitor alignment across all units to reduce duplication, address conflicting priorities, and improve execution discipline.
• Design and publish progress dashboards to monitor the execution rhythm that visualize KPIs, project milestones, and red flags across units.
• Ensure real-time data integrity and alignment with company-wide reporting structures.
Strategic Communication & Executive Engagement
• Prepare executive briefs, strategy decks, and board-ready reports summarizing progress, issues, and recommendations.
• Facilitate weekly check-ins with key owners, preparing action items and escalations as needed.
• Manage cross-functional communication channels to ensure a seamless flow of information between Strategy Office, PMO, and Business Units.
Insight Generation
• Synthesize strategic insights into forward-looking recommendations and highlight emerging trends that impact execution and results.
• Maintain an internal “Insight Engine” repository to store, track, and update strategic intelligence over time.
Culture of Execution and Results-Orientation
• Help instill a high-performance, high-accountability execution culture throughout the company.
• Track progress against quarterly priorities and facilitate mid-course adjustments.
• Work to remove bottlenecks, align incentives, and ensure clarity of purpose at every level.
Special Projects and Ad-Hoc Assignments
• Serve as a “special envoy” of the Chief Strategy Officer on critical short-term deliverables or executive priorities.
• Support the execution of CEO/Board directives that require strategic or analytical firepower.
• Perform other tasks as delegated by the PMO or Strategy Office
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline is required.
Additional certifications in Business Analytics, Strategic Management, or Project Management are strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategy, business analysis, management consulting, or corporate transformation roles.
Proven track record in delivering strategic planning support, execution coordination, and performance monitoring in a complex business environment.
Experience in working closely with executive leadership, data visualization tools, and transformation teams is highly desirable.
