Anwar Seid GC is seeking a qualified and dedicated General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.

Location: Head office, Adama

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded properly

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct bank reconciliations

• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations

• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting

• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• BA Degree or MSc in Accounting and Finance.

• Minimum of 6 years for BA or 4 years for MSc of proven experience as general accountant.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g, Peachtree )

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience in a construction company is highly advantageous.
