General Manager – Multiple Small Businesses Management (Entry-Level, Ethiopia)

We’re seeking a driven fresh graduate with either a bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in IT or a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in business management to take on a dynamic General Manager role in Ethiopia. You’ll oversee multiple small businesses under separate licenses, including a small rental property, an AI-driven robotics startup, and other ventures like [e.g., a local e-commerce platform, a tech support service, or a renewable energy project—tailored to Ethiopia’s market]. As a self-driven learner, you’ll proactively build your skills with minimal supervision, leveraging your academic background to excel in both business and tech, supported by initial guidance.

For the rental property, you’ll teach yourself to manage daily operations of a small building in Ethiopia—screening tenants, drafting leases, collecting rent, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with local property laws. Your business management knowledge (from your degree or minor) will help you keep tenants happy and the property profitable, while your IT or computer science skills enable you to implement tools like property management software or tenant portals, adapting to Ethiopia’s real estate market through independent research.

For the AI robotics startup, you’ll use your computer science or IT background to self-learn coding and develop AI-powered systems, mastering languages like Python, C++, or ROS and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. You’ll work on automation or IoT projects, teaching yourself to write, test, and debug code to deliver innovative solutions for Ethiopia’s growing tech sector, aligning tech development with business goals using your management skills.
 

For additional small businesses, you’ll apply your business management expertise to oversee operations like managing online sales for an e-commerce platform, providing IT support services, or handling logistics for a renewable energy project. Your computer science or IT knowledge will help you adopt digital tools, such as inventory systems, CRM software, or cybersecurity measures, while you independently learn industry-specific strategies to ensure each business thrives and complies with Ethiopian regulations.

You’re a proactive self-learner with a fresh bachelor’s degree in either business management (with an IT minor) or computer science (with a business management minor), eager to blend business oversight with technical expertise across multiple sectors. You’re adaptable, able to tackle tenant issues, code algorithms, or scale a startup seamlessly. No prior experience is required—just a passion for self-directed learning and problem-solving. Familiarity with Ethiopia’s business and tech landscape is a plus, and you’ll ensure data security across all ventures by researching best practices.
