Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel and provides support to the General Manager. To ensure quality standards throughout the hotel and provide an excellent experience for the guests. This role is responsible for overseeing accommodation, food and beverage, reception, conference, and banqueting, as well as the spa. The role is key for maximizing guest satisfaction and for the strategic development of the property. This is a leadership role that requires people management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to execute and follow through on projects.
PREREQUISITES: Excellent revenue management skills with experience in budgets and forecasting. Working with colleagues to share skills, knowledge, resources, and networks. Highly focused, have excellent communication skills, and be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.
EDUCATION: A university degree in hotel management or a related field. Experience in financial accounting, personnel supervision, and problem resolution is an added advantage. Excellent computer system skills and Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Qualifications
At least 8 to 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with significant luxury and international experience,
Minimum 3 to 4 years work experience in a 4 to 5 Star Hotel as an Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, or Hotel Manager.
Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
