Job Title: Human Resources and General Service Officer
Location: Lebu, Muzika Bet, Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-time
The Officer is responsible for supporting the full HR function including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training & development, and administrative support. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a productive and compliant workforce aligned with company values and logistics operations.

Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate hiring needs with department heads
Post job openings, screen resumes, and schedule interviews
Conduct background checks and reference verifications
Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns
Promote a positive and inclusive work culture
Support performance review processes and disciplinary procedures
HR Compliance & Administration
Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation
Assist in payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management
Workforce Planning & Support
Help manage shift overtime, and seasonal staffing
Provide data and reports to management as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or warehousing
Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
As General Service Officer
Responsibilities
Facilities- Maintenance, safety, janitorial services
Supplies- Inventory control, stock management, supplier liaiso
Vendor Contracts- Agreements with cleaning, security, travel, and insurance providers
Administration-Documentation, travel coordination, office furniture, fixed asset management
Reporting-Preparing service and fleet usage reports
Supervision-Overseeing cleaners, security, messengers
