Storekeeper  (*urgently required)

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Required person - 1

To oversee the storage, movement, and condition of event-related equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting event logistics by ensuring accurate inventory control, safe transportation, and proper handling of assets before, during, and after events. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain inventory of event materials, tools, equipment, and supplies

  • Load and transport setup equipment to temporary event site stores

  • Oversee proper handling and control of tools, equipment, and properties during booth setup

  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of items taken out and returned

  • Receiveall properties post-event,verifying condition and completeness

  • Identify and report any missing or damaged items

  • Ensure proper loading, unloading, and shelving of equipment in the main store

  • Provide timely and accurate inventory reports

  • Flag issues requiring urgent attention or managerial decisions

  • Coordinate with logistics and event teams to support efficient setup and teardown

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory control

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory software)

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
