We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Company Driver to join our team in Dedesa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secure, timely, and courteous transportation services for company personnel, visitors, and materials, while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Safely transport company staff, visitors, and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
Adhere to all Ethiopian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
Ensure all necessary vehicle documents (insurance, registration, permits) are up to date.
Provide support for other logistical tasks as assigned.
How you will stand out:
Valid Ethiopian driver’s license (appropriate category for assigned vehicles).
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, preferably for an organization or company.
Good knowledge of local routes and road conditions in Dedesa and surrounding areas.
Ability to communicate in Amharic and Afaan Oromoo (basic English is an advantage).
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discretion.
Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading when needed.
Basic mechanical skills are an added advantage.
Standard working hours with flexibility for occasional early morning, late evening, or weekend duties as required.
Travel to rural or remote locations may be necessary depending on operational needs.
