Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Capital Pediatric Clinic. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of laboratory experience. The successful candidate will perform laboratory tests, collect and prepare samples, maintain equipment, and ensure accuracy and quality in all work while upholding patient safety and confidentiality.

Please note that we will only consider applications from candidates living in or near the Ayat area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory tests according to standard operating procedures.

• Collect, prepare, and handle specimens (blood, urine, stool, etc.) with accuracy and care.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including semi-automated analyzers.

• Document and record test results accurately, ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Follow quality control and safety standards in all work.

• Assist senior laboratory staff with advanced tests as required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (or equivalent).

• 0–1 year of relevant work experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).

• Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures, infection prevention, and safety protocols.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
