We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Wholesale Technical & Sales Professional to support and grow our wholesale distribution network for Medicine & medical equipment

The ideal candidate will have experience working with medical devices and excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

• Manage and expand relationships with local importers and manufacturers 

• Identify and develop business opportunities in different product lines.

• Achieve or exceed sales targets 

• Participate in tender, proforma and other contract negotiations.

Technical Support & Training:

• Ensure compliance with EFDA (Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority) regulations.

• Address customer inquiries and follow up on product-related concerns and complaints.

Market & Product Expertise:

• Maintain strong product knowledge across the portfolio, including clinical use cases and regulatory compliance.

• Monitor new products, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment with market expectations.

Reporting & Coordination:

• Track and report on sales performance, distributor activities, and key accounts.

• Coordinate with internal logistics, regulatory, and customer service teams to support partners effectively.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all technical and sales activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, or health related field.

• 3 years of experience in sales, wholesale in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.

• Strong technical knowledge of medical devices, Medicine, and Laboratory products.

• Experience working in wholesalers or import.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in computer applications

Preferred:

• Experience with Medical, surgical, orthopedic, diagnostic equipment, hospital furniture, Medicines ….

• Familiarity with healthcare procurement systems and regulatory frameworks (EGP, …).

• Existing network in hospitals, clinics, and wholesale medical supply chains.
