Duties & Responsibilities:

● Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor products.

● Analyze data to draw insights and guide the development of new products and solutions.

● Contribute to the development of research methodologies, protocols, and best practices within the R&D department.

● Assist in the design, development, and optimization of new products, processes, or technologies in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to develop prototypes and test new ideas.

● Perform experiments, simulations, and trials to validate concepts and ensure they meet performance, safety, and quality standards.

● Document findings, processes, and results in detailed technical reports and presentations for review.

● Generate and explore innovative ideas for new products, services, and technologies.

● Apply creative problem-solving techniques and overcome technical challenges and optimize existing processes or products.

● Participate in quality assurance processes, including the testing and validation of new products.

● Collaborate with the Director of R&D to develop and execute the R&D strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term goals.

● Identify and prioritize R&D projects based on market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.

● Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

● Monitor the progress of R&D projects and conduct regular project reviews to assess progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

● Lead and manage R&D projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

● Oversee the development of prototypes, testing procedures, and validation processes for the viability of new products or solutions.

● Foster a culture of innovation within the R&D team, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and the exploration of new ideas.

● Lead efforts to develop and integrate new technologies, processes, and materials into the company’s products and services.

● Coordinate with internal and external partners, including suppliers, academic institutions, and research organizations and for advancement of R&D initiatives.

● Maintain comprehensive documentation of R&D processes, methodologies, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing.

● Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of R&D projects, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.

● Contribute to the development of technical papers, presentations, and publications that showcase the company’s R&D achievements.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Economics or related fields of study with a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Economics or related fields of study with a minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated experience.
