Duties & Responsibilities:

• Register, update, validate, analyze, and verify refugee data accurately in the registration system under organizational directives.

• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality. 

• Use IT systems proficiently for data management. 

• Collaborate with team and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1.Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information System, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Management Information System and Software Engineering from a recognized University or College.

• Experience at least Two years of experience in data encoding, registration, data management or in a related role.

2. Skills and Competencies

• Demonstrated knowledge of network systems, computer applications, security and protocols.

• Familiarity with IT policies, registration procedures and best practices.

3. Considerations

• Candidates with prior experience of working in RRS, UNHCR or IOM in a refugee context will be given priority.

4. Duty Station

• The duty station will be in one of RRS’ operational locations, which include refugee centers under Branch Offices in Addis Ababa, Assosa, Gambella, Jigjiga, Melkadida, Semera and Gondar. There may be reassignment within the Service’s operations based on workload.

5. Duration: Four-month contract

6. Payment: Birr 1,746 (One Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Six Birr) Per Day, Paid Per Month
