Key Primary Responsibilities:

Cost Accounting

• Track and analyze costs associated with products, services, or departments.

• Monitor standard costs and recommend updates based on trends or changes in operations.

• Assist in cost variance analysis

• Work with procurement and production teams to ensure cost efficiency.

Budget Preparation and Monitoring

• Assist in developing annual budgets for various departments.

• Monitor budget implementation across departments.

• Analyze deviations from budget and report significant variances to management.

• Participate in quarterly/monthly forecast updates.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare cost and budget reports for internal use.

• Support preparation of management accounts and financial statements.

• Provide insights to management for cost optimization and budget control.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Help implement financial controls related to cost tracking and budget management.

• Support audit processes by providing relevant cost and budget documentation.
