aval Steel Manufacturing PLC, located in the Bahir Dar Industry Zone, is the largest steel factory in the Amhara Region, producing high-quality steel products for the local and regional market.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to support freight import and export operations. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to build a career in the logistics sector. This position will involve assisting in day-to-day shipment coordination, cargo tracking, and customer support.

Location: Addis Ababa, Bambis Area

Reports To: Logistics Manager

Salary – Negotiable, based on skills.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or in a related field of study

• Experience Required: 0 years (This opening is specifically for fresh graduates)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the logistics service for all freight import and export shipments.

• Monitor the status of cargo both locally and overseas, providing timely updates to management and customers.

• Support the daily handling of customer-related issues and service requests.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth cargo movement.
