Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Inventory Control to oversee inventory management processes, improve accuracy, and ensure optimal stock levels across our operations. This role will play a critical part in analyzing inventory data, leading cycle counts, reconciling variances, and implementing best practices to maintain inventory integrity and support business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, transferring, and issuing materials or products.
Lead and coordinate regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, working cross-functionally with warehouse, procurement, and finance teams.
Develop and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
Analyze inventory trends and usage patterns to optimize stock levels, reduce excess or obsolete inventory, and avoid stock outs.
Support implementation of inventory control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Generate reports and present insights on inventory performance, aging, turnover, and accuracy rates to senior management.
Train and mentor junior inventory staff and warehouse personnel on inventory procedures and systems.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to increase inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics.
5 years of experience in inventory control or related position.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
