Duties and Responsibilities: - Leading research projects focused on developing new alloys, improving existing materials, and optimizing manufacturing processes. - Utilizing techniques like SEM, TEM, XRD, and mechanical testing to analyze material properties and performance. - Investigating the root cause of material failures and developing solutions to prevent future occurrences. - Designing and optimizing processes for metal extraction, refining, and manufacturing. - Working with cross-functional teams to integrate metallurgical insights into product design and manufacturing. - Guiding and mentoring junior metallurgists and engineers. - Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in materials science.
