CCECC Ethiopian Branch is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson specialized in building structures and architectural drafting. The candidate will prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings for construction projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Prepare and develop architectural and structural drawings based on project requirements.

•   Convert sketches and concepts into detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.

•   Perform structural calculations and ensure drawings comply with codes and standards.

•   Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design requirements.

•   Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.

•   Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•   Deploma/Degree in a related field (Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent).

•   Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in preparing structural and working drawings.

•   Experience as a draft person for building design structure engineers.

•   Professional registration with the Institute of Building Design Structure Engineers.

•   Ability to use office software and design software to perform structural calculations and drawings.

•   Familiarity with Ethiopian work standards and building codes.

•   Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design tools is an advantage).

•   Strong English communication and writing skills.

•   Ability to work under pressure, follow work arrangements, and demonstrate team spirit.

Additional Requirements:

•  Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering is a plus.
