Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Employment Type: Full-time
The Finance Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction to the company’s financial operations, ensuring sustainable growth, strong governance, and optimal resource allocation. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO.
Strategic Financial Leadership – Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Budgeting & Forecasting Oversight – Lead the preparation, approval, and monitoring of annual budgets and multi-year forecasts.
Financial Performance Management – Monitor KPIs, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures to ensure financial targets are met.
Capital Structure & Funding Strategy – Optimize the company’s capital structure and manage relationships with banks, investors, and lenders.
Risk & Compliance Governance – Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management – Maintain healthy liquidity and working capital to support operations and growth.
Investment Decision-Making – Assess investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to maximize ROI.
Internal Controls & Audit Management – Establish robust internal control systems and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
Tax Planning & Optimization – Approve and oversee tax strategies to minimize liabilities within legal frameworks.
Financial Systems & Process Optimization – Champion the use of technology to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.
Executive & Board Reporting – Present clear, insightful financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership and the board.
Team Leadership & Talent Development – Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve excellence.
Stakeholder & Investor Relations – Manage financial communications with shareholders, investors, and external partners.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA (highly desirable).
Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in financial strategy, budgeting, and corporate governance.
Experience in [insert relevant industry, e.g., real estate, retail, manufacturing, etc.] is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP and financial management systems.
