Hence we need a qualified Senior Operation Officer. To oversee and optimize the daily operations of the three company by translating strategic plans into actionable operational systems  The Senior Operations Officer will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, improving organizational performance, ensuring operational alignment with strategic objectives, digitalizing core processes, leading transformational initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution across all three companies  and departments  including sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and operations. The SOO plays a key leadership role in driving efficiency, sustainable growth, and operational excellence

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Leadership

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with companies vision, business goals, and expansion plans.

  • Design and implement business strategies, processes, and operational procedures aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to drive cross-functional synergy, performance improvement, and enterprise value creation.

  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable operational objectives and KPIs for all business units.

Business Process Optimization

  • Lead process audits and reengineering initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.

  • Implement standardized systems, tools, and operational best practices across the organization.

  • Champion digital transformation and technology integration to enhance productivity and data-driven decision-making.

  • Spread head the automation and digitalization of core operational functions

Operational Oversight & Performance Management

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple divisions, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and resource optimization.

  • Monitor key performance metrics and ensure accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in operations.

  • Establish operational policies and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal governance standards.

  • Identify and execute process improvements using Business Process Management (BPM) tools and methodologies

  • Lead company-wide performance management systems to improve accountability and efficiency

  •  Support the development and implementation of annual operational plans, aligned with strategic goals

  • Evaluate company performance and prepare regular reports by analyzing operational data, KPIs, and other key metrics

Job Requirements

  • MA in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • 11 years of progressive experience in operational leadership roles, preferably in trade, logistics, manufacturing, or import/export sectors.

  • Proven success in managing multiple departments and driving measurable business improvements.

  • Strong experience in process improvement, data analysis, and performance monitoring tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and project management tools

  • Strong leadership, delegation, and team-building skills

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making ability

  • Deep understanding of operational systems, business process design, and performance metrics

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and results orientation

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both Amharic and English)
