The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role demands attention to detail, integrity, and strong organizational skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow customer and other daily transactions.
Experience in operating cash register machines
Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely payment of taxes, payroll, and other statutory requirements.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
Support audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Provide financial insights to management when required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in telecom or import sector).
Knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, ERP systems)
