Job Title: Marketing Manager
Department: Transport And Logistics
Reports to: General Manager / CEO

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and business development efforts. The role involves developing strategies to strengthen our market presence, build partnerships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, transport/logistics industry knowledge, and strong leadership skills to guide a growing marketing team.
Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for Markon’s transport and logistics services.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, partnerships) to promote services.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, dealerships, and importers.
Lead development of promotional materials, advertisements, and corporate communications.
Manage digital marketing channels (website, social media, online advertising).
Support sales team with lead generation, proposal development, and presentations.
Monitor and report on marketing performance, ROI, and client feedback.
Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget effectively.
Supervise and mentor junior marketing staff, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial/senior role.
Experience in transport/logistics, automotive, or related industries is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, B2B marketing, and brand management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Amharic and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools (CRM, social media management, analytics).
Strong leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
