Position title: Junior Pharmacy

Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital is seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of drugs in line with national guidelines and hospital policies.
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and timely.
Provide patients with proper counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
Monitor and manage the hospital pharmacy stock, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote rational drug use.
Maintain proper documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.
Salary: as per the organization pay scale.
Specification Requirement
a. Educational Qualification and Work Experience
BSc Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.
Minimum of 1 year proven working experience as a licensed pharmacist (hospital or community).
Valid professional license from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA).
b. knowledge and Skills Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.
Basic computer skills and knowledge
Skill in managing accurate tracking records and preparing reports.
Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with pharmacists, procurement officers, and healthcare staff.
Professional attitude and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices.
