Job Description
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support our accounting department with daily tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and a proactive attitude.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Support the senior accounting staff with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of two years of experience in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., peachtree).
Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
